Press Brake Operator
CNC brake programmer and operator for Cincinnati and Amada press brakes. The operator is in charge of set-up and operation of press brakes and laser, will cut and bend parts for welding, grinding and deburring. Applicant must be willing to cross train on other operations.
Essential Job Functions:

Prepare and setup of necessary tools and equipment for laser cutting and bending jobs

Bend and cut parts in accordance with specifications

Ability to identify different types of metal

Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements i.e. continual improvements

Review parts to ensure accuracy against drawings & BOMs

Willing to cross train in other areas
Working Conditions:
-
Work performed in a non-climate controlled metal fabrication environment, with frequent standing, twisting, bending, and stooping in and around metal fabricated parts.

Frequent lifting, pushing or pulling of 50 pounds.

Requires sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate production equipment safely.

Able to work overtime and/or weekends as scheduled.
Full - Time, experience based pay
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
-
Previous education or minimum of one year working in a metal fab manufacturing environment.
-
Good math skills and ability to understand complex instructions, how schematics work and make sure items are designed and built correctly.

Problem solving skills to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors.

Keen attention to detail is required.

Mechanical and technical skills and understanding of CAD/CAM technology.
